You can highlight specific things in your project by selecting them and pressing "command+E". To create a new project just go to your workspace and select the bright blue 'New Project' button at the top of the screen. Taskade works in a hierarchy where you have tasks housed in projects which live in a workspace. It's important to know the structure of Taskade so you can properly understand how each element relates to each other. For example, for your company you might have a subspace for marketing, operations, design, and product.Ī project is exactly what you think an entire page that allows you to organize everything required to complete a multi-step process.Ī task is a single-action you must take to complete part of your project.Īnd tasks can also be broken down into subtasks for further refinement. Once verified, click Next, and then, when prompted, click Turn On Zap ( Figure I).įigure I You can now enable your new Zap. Click Send Test and then check Taskade to make sure it worked. Click Next and you’ll be prompted to send a test. You can also select an assignee for the connection. You will then have to select a Taskade Project to house the data from Google Calendar. Then, back at the original window, click Next. After selecting the calendar, click Next again. How to connect Google Calendar to Taskade I’ll demonstrate with the Taskade desktop client running on Pop!_OS Linux, but you can do this on the macOS, Windows and web clients. To make this connection, you’ll need valid Google and Taskade accounts. What you’ll need to connect Taskade to Google Calendar Fortunately, this can be done with the help of Zapier, which allows you to connect Taskade to thousands of apps, including Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Tasks and many more.
